INTRODUCTION. Weston Distance Learning (“Sponsor”), a Colorado corporation, with its principal business office at 2001 Lowe Street, Fort Collins, CO 80525, is the sponsor of a drawing for a prize with a value up to $400 depending on exact month and offer. Exact prize is identified in the advertising for drawing. These drawings are subject to these “Official Rules”. Entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules, as well as the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions shall be final and binding.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase is necessary to enter into the drawing. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning a prize.
ELIGIBILITY. Promotion is open only to individuals who are students at U.S. Career Institute and current on payments are both: (a) 18 years of age or older (or 19 years or older for residents of Alabama or Nebraska) at the time of entry, and (b) a U.S. resident at the time of entry. Any individual not meeting all eligibility requirements in the preceding sentence is NOT eligible to enter or win. Neither participation nor lack of participation affects student grades, payments, rights, responsibilities, or any other transaction or interaction with USCI, other than student's agreement that the student is releasing USCI to use the video per the terms outlined in these rules. Additional purchase or enrollment is not necessary for entry and will not increase the odds of winning. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family (parents, spouses, children, siblings, grandparents, including all direct, step and half relationships) are NOT eligible to enter, or win. Even if they are currently enrolled as a student in USCI, employees of USCI or Weston Distance Learning (WDL), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The officers, directors, shareholders, advisors, accountants, attorneys, agents, licensees or representatives of the Sponsor are NOT eligible to enter, or win. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY, THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, AND ALL PERSONS RESIDING IN ANY JURISDICTION WHERE ANY PROMOTION IS PROHIBITED, SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER, OR WIN ANY PRIZES, IN ANY PROMOTION.

HOW TO ENTER. To enter, eligible entrants must submit a video between 20 and 120 seconds long following the prompt “This is My Classroom!” This video may be submitted via Instagram post (Must tag @uscareerinstitute), Facebook post (Must tag U.S. Career Institute), TikTok (Must tag @uscareerinstitute) or directly to us at KatelynW@westondistancelearning.com. PRIZES. The prize for this is a 10.9 inch wifi enabled 10th (current) generation 64gb iPad, with a pre-tax value of $349. One prize will be awarded at random from the eligible entries.
PROMOTION DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION. A winning entry will be selected at random from all eligible entries received, on the date of October 31st, 2024. Such random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decision will be final. The individual whose entry is selected will be notified through personal messaging using the same social media platform in which the original post, share, or comment was made. This notification will occur within three (3) business days after selection. If Sponsor or its designee is unable to contact the individual(s) whose entry was selected using the personal messaging method, and/or if the individual whose entry was selected fails to respond to such notification within five (5) business days of delivery of such notification, the individual whose entry was selected will be disqualified and forfeit his/her right to the prize, and an alternate winning entry will be randomly selected.
INTERNET. If for any reason, the internet-related portion of these Promotions is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security, or integrity of the Promotions, then Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Promotions or any portion of the Promotions. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, any online entry will be deemed submitted by the username on the account.
PRIVACY. If you enter U.S. Career Institute’s website and complete a request for information or enrollment, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming promotions and to receive information about U.S. Career Institute or other divisions of Weston Distance Learning. Consenting to receive such e-mails is optional, does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, and does not improve your chances of winning.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. Weston Distance Learning and its respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; inability to access either Website; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; typographical, human or other errors; and any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or any combination thereof. Entries are considered only upon receipt. All entries become the property of Sponsor. A purchase will not increase your chance of winning. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE SPONSOR’S SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE/S AND/OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant or the Participating Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which would cause the application or the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Colorado. Any action or litigation concerning this Agreement shall take place exclusively in the federal or state courts sitting in Larimer County, Colorado, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive all defenses of lack of jurisdiction and inconvenient forum with respect to such courts. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. You agree to service of process by mail or other method acceptable under the laws of the State of Colorado. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES. YOU (AND YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS IF YOU ARE A MINOR) HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY'S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, IDENTIFIABLE PERSONS, OR THIRD-PARTY PARTICIPANTS, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
