Our qualified Caregiver instructor Kaylah Thornton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University. As a Registered Nurse, she has provided nursing care in a variety of specialties, including surgical, orthopedics, neurology, cardiology and rehabilitation. In her nursing position, Kaylah monitored, documented and communicated patient conditions to a multidisciplinary care team. She collaborated with numerous disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial needs. Kaylah evaluated the learning needs of patients and families and educated them as needed.
