Earn Your High School Diploma: Online Adult Education Program

If you are an adult who never received your high school diploma you may think it is too late to earn your high school diploma. Regardless of how long it has been since you were in high school, it is not too late to earn your diploma and to open up career opportunities for yourself. USCI offers an online adult education program that is designed for busy adults wishing to finish their high school education on their time.

Many adults who dropout of high school believe that their only option to complete high school is to get their GED, HiSET, or other equivalency program, but getting a diploma from a DEAC accredited high school has many benefits and is often seen as a better choice for career advancement. With USCI, adults can take high school courses on their own time, at their own pace to earn their high school diploma!

Q. I’ve completed some high school, can I transfer my credits?
A. High school credits don’t expire, so as long as you can get a copy of your transcript, you can transfer previous high school credits towards earning your high school diploma! USCI allows students to transfer up to 18 eligible credits. All students have 75 days to submit their previous transcript after enrollment for credits to be considered. Some students attend 9th grade in a junior high program, if this is the case for you, make sure to include your junior high transcript to ensure that credits are applied and you are not required to complete duplicate work.

Q. How quickly can I finish the program?
A. The amount of time it may take you depends on a couple of different factors, the biggest being how many credits you transfer. If you are able to transfer the maximum amount of credits (18 credits) that leaves you with only 6 credits you need to get your online high school diploma (24 credits required in total). If you are able to take 2 classes a month (0.5 credits each) then you can finish the program in as little as 6 months!

Q. When can I start the program?
A. After enrolling, students can start the program immediately. Once enrollment is submitted, students can expect to receive an email with access to their first class (HS002- Strategies for Academic Success). Once you have received the email access, you are able to start the online high school diploma program.
