Q. What does an Accountant do?
A. Accountants are responsible for creating and managing ledgers and reports that detail a business’s varied expenses. They can work for accounting firms or for accounting departments in larger companies.

Q. How are the Bookkeeping and Accounting Courses different?
A. The Accounting Services Course includes, in addition to all content of the Bookkeeping Course, additional education on tax and payroll processing. Due to this overlap, students cannot take both courses, and are encouraged to compare and decide between the two.

Q. Do I need to get Certified?
A. Though some employers may require certification, it is not generally required to work as an entry-level Accountant. Certification is not available with this program.
