Brandy has been involved in therapy for nearly 15 years starting out as a physical therapy assistant and then a physical therapist. Brandy believes that it is important to not only show students what their abilities are in the classroom but how to take those abilities outside of their academic space and grow as a person. Brandy is originally from Kansas City, Kansas and loves spending time with her family.

    Prerequisites: A High School diploma or equivalent is required to be a Patient Care Technician. You must also be at least 16 years old.

    Enroll in an accredited Patient Care Technician program such as ours to gain the needed skills through our interactive learning modules and career support. Our program is typically completed in 4-5 months.

    Graduates may sit for Patient Care Technician Certification Exam (CPCT-A) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA).

Certification requirements depend on vocation and state. Check your state guidelines to check certificaiton requirements. Upon graduation from our program, you will receive your U.S. Career Institute Certificate of Completion attesting to your accomplishment. U.S. Career Institute’s Patient Care Technician program prepares you to sit for the Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT-A) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Your CPCT-A exam, study guide and practice text are included in your tuition.
