Virtual Clinical Skills Lab: Complete Guide & Requirements

Practice Your Skills Live. Build Confidence with Real-Time Guidance.

The Virtual Clinical Skills Lab is an optional educational opportunity for eligible U.S. Career Institute Medical Assistant students to practice essential vital-sign skills hands-on with an adult guest patient during a live, small-group Zoom session led by a licensed clinician.

Your clinician will observe your performance, provide real-time guidance and feedback, and give you an opportunity to ask questions as you demonstrate each core skill. This session gives you another opportunity to apply what you've learned in your online coursework, ask questions, and build confidence practicing these skills with a real person.
