School-Age Children
As children move into their school years, their
physical, emotional, social and intellectual
development continues at a rapid pace. This
lesson will help you understand the needs
of school-age children and plan appropriate
activities for them.
Child Development Theories—Beyond Ages
and Stages
Explore the history of child development. You’ll
learn several influential child development
theories, such as the psychodynamic and
